Brick House Tavern + Tap opened January 2009. It was originally built as Joe's Crab Shack in 1997 and all records indicate that it was the first Brick House to open, with the underperforming Joe's closing in 2008 for conversion into the new restaurant concept.

Since this post was originally published, BrickHouse was closed in March 2022. In early 2023, it reopened as a Cajun-California cuisine restaurant concept called "Cali Kitchen & Bar".
